Ever since Laguna La Crete opened our doors in 2000, one goal was in mind: offering our guests a comfortable, affordable and all around exceptional accommodation. Laguna28 covers every aspect of your stay:

The Laguna La Crete complex, perched on the cliffs overlooking the sheltered Uvongo main beach, commands extraordinary views of the beach and the Indian Ocean. The tumbling waterfall, tucked into the rocky cliffs immediately below the resort, is an added bonus and is the only one of its kind on this stretch of coastline.

Laguna La Crete is a popular holiday destination and offers easy access to fishing, surfing and beach walking; all within a stone’s throw of the complex. The Uvongo fishing pier, a well-liked venue for surf and rock fishing is situated 50 meters from the boundary of the property. The well-established Lillicrona Boulevard walking trail begins just south of the fishing pier and is user-friendly for both adults and children.

If surfing is your game, given the appropriate weather conditions, Uvongo point provides a perfect wave for the surfing fanatic.

The complex has one guest swimming pool, a tennis courts and offers on-site 24-hour security. Laundry facilities are also provided.

As a young child I remember taking humble vacations with my parents down to the "south coast" more specifically, down to these beaches; Uvongo/ Margate/ and Shelly Beach. I can clearly remember the fishing pier (as shown) and the fun, cold, and wet fishing we did of the pier (sometimes right through the night), and pretty much catching nothing.. but this created memories. I remember various holiday homes accommodation facilities going up and being built in the 80's, and thinking to myself it would be a dream come true to be able to have a vacation at one of these spots, let alone owning one.

We'll 30 years later, my wife and I found ourselves in a position to purchase one of these prestigious holiday homes. This now in turn, also becomes a real possibility for you and your friends to book and enjoy.

Laguna La Crete 28 is a stunning beachfront property in the popular Laguna La Crete complex, just off Marine Drive in Uvongo. It offers direct access to the beach which is 200m away.

This self-catering holiday home can accommodate between 6 people. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 comfortable sleeper couches in the lounge. The main bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a double bed while the third bedroom has 2 single beds. These rooms share the second bathroom with a bath and shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped and features a fridge-freezer combination, stove, oven, microwave, washing machine, cutlery and crockery. The lounge area offers comfortable seating and a 43" Flat screen TV with DStv, as well as Netflix. Guests can also enjoy uncapped free Wi-Fi

The patio is perfect for entertainment and holiday fun, including 2 deck chairs, 2 outdoor table and chairs, as well as a gas BBQ/ Braai.  It also offers spectacular ocean, beach and lagoon views

Complex amenities include a clubhouse with swimming pools, tennis courts, laundry facilities and covered parking. The pedestrian gate allows direct access to Uvongo beach through the lagoon at low tide.
